Anyone else not bother with the lottery this year?

I used to be really into it, buying up large numbers over all my characters. Since gil seems kinda pointless these days and gear is all attainable. The whole lottery thing seems rather pointless.

This event is by far 232847 times better than all of the ones before it.

Why? Relic/mythic/empyrean weapon rank 1 prizes. Relics + Mythics both worth far more than the amount of gil you could win. Finally prizes worthy of the low chance of winning.

It is kind of sad how realistic it is with the only good wins being rare.

I'd like something trivial like Joytoy as a rank 5 win so I could be sure to get it. I'm too lazy to go out and camp it, even though it is 100% drop rate.
