Does anybody have a clue as to what the 50k GP skill+ furniture items do? I have been scouring the Wiki and other various forums but have not found out.

Specifically, I am a level 100+2 cook. I will use the cooking GP items as a reference, but all crafts appear to have similar equipment available. The hat and apron and Cordon Bleu items are fairly self-explanatory. Once you start throwing the other items in, it gets a little murky.

I would like to know the difference between the following, plus also how the items combine to increase skill:

15,000 GP - Culinarian's Emblem - crafted to Cul. Stall - (estimated, but not confirmed to give Cooking +4)

50,000 GP - Brass crock - there is basically no information available. I have also scoured all of the other crafts and nobody really seems to have an opinion on these.

150,000 GP - Cordon Bleu set

200,000 GP - Culinarian Signboard

Currently, I have the hat, apron, and stall, so I should have Cooking 100+6. My Mog House reads as having Mega Moglification. The descriptions for the remaining items are not very clear as to what exactly benefit they will bring once they are added to my Mog House. They say that they will reduce chance of losing materials on a busted synth... but if I am sitting at 100+6, is it worth the additional 350,000 GP to get save a few materials? Not in my opinion.

However, if there IS the benefit of additional skill+ points, to me that IS worth the labor of GP. If anybody has any insight to the relationship of all of these items, I would greatly appreciate it.

One addendum: It would be nice if in your Craft Skill menu, it would actually show the level you are at after bonuses and support.

The 50,000 Items I believe give +1 to a skill, and are salable. So if you got say, woodworking and want +1 Smithing to tip a tier on a synth you can.

Other than that, I got no idea.

I'm not sure but I can test the 50k item out. Maybe take out everything but it and see if I can HQ staves at a higher than never rate. I sort of question a +1 skill item that can be sold. In any case I'm sure they are useful for something and not just for show. So like, either +1 skill or lower loss rate or who knows, maybe a higher success rate but with HQs allowed, unlike the ring.

The 50K item gives you same as other items, its just weaker and easy to overpower with other furniture.

Moghancement skill: gives +1 skill
Moglification skill: Gives +1 skill and lower item loss from breaks. Requires sign + 1 moghancement skill furniture
Mega Moglification: Gives +(2+n) skill and dramatically lower item loss rate on breaks. n is how many other +skill furniture you have. Only requires the stall to be in your mog house.

So if you have the woodworking stall, carpenter's kit, drawing desk, and carpenter's signboard, you get a total of +5 wwing skill from the set in your MH. On top of +2 from gear and +3 from guild you can now hit 110 crafting skill, or, T1 HQ rate on a 99 craft.

Urat, have those +(2+n) numbers actually been verified by tests on Mega Moglification? I'd be interested in those numbers, because I could find very little info on the MMs.

I got 100 woodworking, but so few veteran recipes are actually woodworking. Mostly, it's some low skill lumber with millions in goldsmithing/blacksmithing/leathercraft items.. well, millions before Abyssea destroyed the existing economy.. now it's like 10k ;)

Confirmed by several people on Bluegart, not sure if you have an account there.
