On security tokens and actually receiving one.

How long did it take for any of you to get your's?

I'm mildly annoyed that SE takes payment first instead of processing the order then taking payment. I've been pretty lenient with them and contacting them after a month has passed per call. This order was made in March. They've claimed to have escalated my issue twice. :mad:

I got mine a couple weeks later, but I think they're actually out of stock of the security tokens right now. At least that's what a guy in my LS said when we asked why he doesn't have a mog satchel.

I'm wondering why the reps don't at least mention this instead of making it sound like they'll do something about it asap over the phone. It's not even fun to wait through the hold music each time. :|

Mine took less than two weeks to arrive. They do process it when they take your money. They just ship it like 10th class mail or something.

They come from a third party, so there is a bit of extra delay. Also why they can't hold the billing like with all thier other stuff I guess--they have to send your payment to someone else and they ship it to you. I still have my original box and the label is from a fullfillment center in Carrollton, Texas.

Guess I got lucky...I got mine in a little under a week. Came from some processing center in Illinois, with me only living one state away, Indiana.

I ordered one when they first came out, took nearly 7 weeks for mine to arrive. Sent from somewhere in the States to Europe.

I have the original package mine came in from Carrollton, TX. Only took a week, but then, I ordered mine the first day they were issued.

Everytime I clicked ont the button to order one, I got the message.."temporarily out of stock..." After 5 months and 4 emails to Se or POL, I don't remember exactly who, I always got the standard reply...."Thank you for choosing....We value your feedback...blah,blah,blah..." I did get a little ugly on my last email though..basically ripped 'em...If they wanted everybody to use as much security as possible, then somebody needs to question why the manufacturer was out of stock for 5 months, and if my account got hacked, then somebody was going to be in hot water....
Wonder of wonders, 2 days later, the stock was back, I ordered it, and got it in 3 days. And I LIKE IT, the extra security and the satchel.

I actually managed to make my order through what I think was the FFXIV page, and supposedly my order fell through the cracks because of that. They don't seem to want to bother reading the emails anymore and require you to make a phone call. :/

I got mine through the FFXIV LTD Edition, so technically I got a cool Journal book and a Security token, and a game that needs a lot of work, but I still got my security token for use for XI.

it took 9 days after I ordered mine, my roommate got hers the exact same day and she ordered it 2 days later, we were both surprised

I ordered mine as soon as they started selling them, because I had gotten hacked before and almost left FFXI cause of it, but when I saw the token I jumped at the chance for more security
