I don't really see a problem unlike the OP.
People who /shout for an "experienced" member have the rights to do so and should do this. The Duty Finder will match you with random people and you might prefer a good party to attempt a tougher fight or a better party than the 2 tanks-4 DDs-2 healers. (the 2nd tank for Ifrit isn't a necessity)
Also, it is always better to /shout for members. Those members might become your friends or a new FC members unlike those random players you might never see again.
EDIT: Now, if someone yells at you for not being "good enough" in a Duty Finder party... that's another thing. I consider the Duty Finder to be a "training ground" where you can fight with a mixed party of new, bad, good, experienced players.
Bottomline is: It's always better to play with people that fits your style of gaming.

Already I have found numerous people willing to run across the zone to respond to a timely res request. I can't res, so I find someone who can and so 'twas done. I happily acknowledge all of you who will come to the aid of someone else when there wasn't a profit to be had because you are, essentially, a nice person.
The only issue is when people refuse to explain stuff before hand.
I haven't made it to HM dungeons yet. When I get there I wont do one without first looking for youtube explanations...if they don't exist im more inclined to ask before it starts.
Im not sure if they are any different than normal dungeons mechanically...so realistically everyone should have done it once before...even then.
Ive been able to hang with the best of them, and be part of really unforgiving guilds running endgame...but everyone has a first time.
Explain it before hand, give at least two wipes before you rage.
If you want a no issue, speed run, everyones a pro.....FFS get a FC for that...
I will run every HM with the duty finder first, theres no excuse for trolls there...none. You know you roll the dice with a pug, this isn't anything new.
Here is the quality of JP Duty Finder party. (aka PUG)

Seeing a lot of comments like "OMG PEOPLE ARE RUDE ON INTERWEBZ, SUPPLIES!?" The problem with this mentality, is that you are accepting and unacceptable behavior because you perceive it as the norm in an online environment. I was a long time FFXI player and NEVER have I seen people talk to other people in an online game as I have in the last 3-4 years. The narcissism and conceit of a large portion of the playerbase is getting out of control.
I am sorry, but if you accept shit as the norm you will be living in shit. People who have the "oh well, it's what it is" mentality must have a worthless life if they accept this kind of behavior from their peers.
I should note that I am not saying FFXI was the pinnacle of the gaming community, but damn were people a lot more forgiving and patient. The "me" generation is actually pretty disgusting. I hope SE just takes a hard stance and perma-bans asshats.
I just hit 50, this is what i had to look forward to. Not knowing the mechanics for Garuda Hard or anyone even to bother explain anything.

Sounds about right during this time since the game hasn't been in Full release for a month yet.
I still see a lot of people not in FC yet in higher levels and a majority of the community has not made it to their first lvl 50. Not to mention a large majority of the chill lvl 50 who doesn't do that negative stuff to other players are just leveling their crafts, gathering or other class/jobs so they can properly prepare for endgame.
You never know how useful those cross-skills can be until you have them for high level contents. Not to mention preparations for housing system since the sutff you put into your house will also provide extra stat bonuses and those bonus stats will go a long way to surviving endgame stuff.
Not to mention the lack of a proper instructions has yet to be created due to how early it is.

well, let us all take a moment to remember the golden age of ff11. the people on my server are fairly civil. some of them wanted people to skip cutscenes but they all understood that it was fine if some players chose to not skip them.
to that end, a quick run option should probably be implemented for people who would rather skip it all and just jump into the action. maybe that might happen somewhere down the line.
Seems like people are always quicker to insult you than to teach you anything.![]()
