I do not count the breaths I take until next we should chance to meet. I know - yes, even I know how unbearable that would be. I have ever been given to waiting, to reaction rather than action. In this, I will not. I could wait until the star bled out, and it would not see you free. I must uphold my end of our agreement; I must ensure my name reaches through time, to become a star to guide you in the encroaching darkness. I fear I cannot stop the trials of these days, though you placed such faith in me. So I will fight enough for us both.

I must admit that no day goes by without thoughts of you. I have seen and studied Azyz Lla, that levitating land thought lost or myth. In writing, it must be hard to believe. Though I lived it, I oft wonder how much of it was a dream! I should very much have enjoyed to see it by your side. An expert on Allagan history might have squeezed more secrets from its ancient heart. The events that have transpired, the locations that I have been... oh, how I long to share them with you! Never in all my days have I had such a dear friend as you, short though our time together had been. We will yet discover how to master Crystal Tower. I promised you then, and I intend to uphold that promise. The light you defend could be just what we need in these times.

Until the land crumbles to nothing, until the skies shatter and the world ceases to move, until these conflicts steal away my very life, I shall strive to make both of our dreams reality.

I blame you for this, buddy. If I didn’t like you so much I’d beat you bloody. I’m the girl you never asked for a name, insisting instead I rise to fame. I took your words to heart; these days few things change if I’m not taking part. Of my accomplishments I should feel proud, but instead I keep looking for you in the crowd.

Do you have any idea how frustrating it can be, having the Echo but on the subject of you unable to see? The past is mine in which to pry, but you’re such an unreachable guy. Everyone has secrets. You claimed to have dozens. So far I’ve found you have identical brothers, not cousins.

It’s hard to believe you’re just a peddler. Seems more likely you’re a spy or meddler. Are you wearing that hat to hide you’re Garlean? Will we meet on my inevitable trip to Sharlayan? You asked me for company, gave me a ring. Where I’m from that’s no small thing.

On that note, it bears a mention; how many cities must I save to get your attention? I’ve worked hard, I think that’s plain. The Scions treat me like their personal primal, all brawn and no brain. Errands and deadly battles, I do with a smile. Yet where are you all the while? You seem to know my face, speaking of fate as we left Ul’dah in a race. Unless that was some wild estimation, I’m not the only one stuck with this fixation.

Now don’t get me wrong; you’ve got faults. You’re so short and thin, how could we waltz? Still, I think your payment’s fallen late in time, so will you be my Valentione?

You have been by my side through my entire journey, and though we may not literally see eye to eye, your tiny stature is only mirrored by the depths of my adoration for you. Your peppy spirit always brings great delight to me during the darkest of hours, and you constantly keep showing me how easy it is to smile when things seem most bleak. I was there for you when you wanted to be more help with the Scions, and struggled with the more difficult aspects of being an Arcanist. However, unlike your carbuncles, I will never leave your side. The outfit you fashioned for me is always kept close, a constant reminder of how much work your tiny hands have put into shaping my future with the Scions. Your information gathering in Ishgard helped bring people who were thought to be lost forever back together. And even now, though you may be in a far off land, keeping tabs on foreign affairs, the flames of my passion outshine even those left by the primal of the Amalj'aa, Ifrit. Until that glorious day when I can hold your tiny, fragile hands within mine, know that memories of you are fondly kept in my heart.

Dear Aymeric, I just received your letter, thanks for the cookies!I'm sitting by the campfire on Azim Steppe, enjoy them slowly with milk that just squeezed out from a sheep. Yep, I tried to milk a sheep! Aww it's harder than it looks.I bet Estinien would laugh out loud if he sees me getting kicked in the face several times. -__-

Azim steppe is an amazing place. Lush green grassland spread to the horizon in every direction around me. Sky doom with millions of stars is the only border of this land. The air here is never still, local au'ra's colourful veils are always dancing. However unlike Coerthas, the wind here is warm like a motherly touch, I rather enjoy it than hide from it. I bet Coerthas had wind like this before calamity? I'm sure you will love this place, do your favourite star gazing,and ride with me to the horizon. How does that sound? XD

There, another "bring you to see the world by words"session from me, hope you enjoy it as much as my previous ones!

Ps: The moment I lay my hand on your letter, I see an echo. You...have been through another assassination attempt recently. You mentioned nothing about it in the letter, you don't want me to worry, I know. But...my heart stopped when I see the echo. Thank the Twelve, Lucia and you both reacted fast enough this time and no harm has been done. ... How I wish I can stay by your side all the time. Now I can only pray hard for your safety.

Ps2: My tail fur that ripped off by your cat has fully grown back. I'm still keeping the ribbon you tied on my tail for hiding the bald though...it's too lovely. XD

I'm writing to you for multiple reasons, the fact that you probably can't answer a linkshell being one of the reasons. I just recently completed some training as a Dark Knight with my comrade, Sidurgu, which leads into my next reason for writing which I'm- in all honesty- too embarrassed to say with my own breath due to how sheepish I get just by writing this, it reminded me of what happened to you in Rhalgr’s Reach. I know it sounds odd so I'll quit stalling and get straight to the point. Dark Knights use love to get to our true strength. I've chosen the path that I shall walk, the cause that I shall follow. You are who I've chosen to follow even into the life stream. I'll only follow you if you'll have me. So will you have me? I haven't chosen you at random, I haven't chosen you out of lust for power, I have chosen you because I know that your safety and your smile are enough to soothe any pain and make me smile myself; Because I know if I must, I will single handedly stop a calamity just for you, even if it were to be Bahamut. I have chosen you because of your personality, how you carry yourself in battle, how calm and collected you are, your wit, your bravery, the list goes on listing everything about you. I feel best when I'm with you, Y’Shtola, even if we're only in the same room and you just glance at me. I will swear my sword to your protection if you will have me. So I ask yet again.
