    little things (in game) that we want changed or fixed

    so ive started threads before about these little things individually but i thought id put them together and have people post about the little things that you want to say but dont want to make a whole thread about it.

    so i want the macro /head display off to take the hood off of cowls, or make robes with hoods that are down but that seems like a waste and would be much better just making the macro take the hood down.
    i also really REALLY dont like that it seems like humans are the only ones who have the front hair removed when they wear a hat. i even took a picture of a elezen wearing a hat and his hair is the same as it always is.

    but when a human (or at least my character model) wears a hat, the hair in front goes away. and im upset at that because if i wanted my hair behind my ears, i would have chosen that character model, but i didnt so i dont think its fair that eveyone else gets their hair the same as it always is, except the humans.

    - The ability to remove a player from a Linkshell without being right next to them!
    - The ability to change active linkshells with a text command like "/usels 1"
    - The ability to chat in different linkshells with "/L1" or "/L2" and so on.
    - Removal of the timer from Crafting
    - Removal of the invisible timer from Gathering
    - Make Rabid synthesis and bold synthesis actually useful
    - Make the levequest timer pause after a Disconnect
    - Remember my password instead of having me type it in for the 10,000th time to log in.
    - Add enfeebling arrows to the game so that I have a reason not solely use warped arrows.
    - Click and drag inventory management
    - Customized inventory organization
    - Provide me with a fiber optic direct line to your servers (okay maybe not this one)

    - Ability to remove a player from a linkshell without them being online. (People who quit game?)
    - Add Jump.
    - Add auto attack.
    - NM's were previously do-able with 5 to 8 man parties before the patch even came out. Now they're meant for 8 man parties? Does SE even realize what they did? I mean seriously? Bad enough 50 THMs were able to duo Dodore and occasionally - with luck - solo Dodore pre-patch, but now they can solo with efficiency, not only Dodore - but also goblins. Thm and an other DD are now duo-camping Uraeus also. Where is the fun in that? Group activity is lessened now, and the sad part is not that some jerk with 5 ppl using his account is farming dodore 24 hours; It's that 30 n00bs are attempting to solo cuz they know its possible. It really sucks watching a THM fight for claim, keep it passed the despawn time, and die - over and over again. Pretty rotten of you SE. Thx alot for the 'lessen-the-fun.patch.2011' Truly appreciated!

    -So based on that - I think they should get rid of the current 'attack first and win claim' system and replace it with an OD claim system. If some 50 THM wants camp NM's all day solo - go for it! However, when a strong team of ppl come to attack - they are able to whether that THM is attack it also or not. If the team does more damage to the mob than the solo THM - they get the loot. Simple as that. Its fun, it's competitive, it makes ppl strive to better their character instead of going out to solo the only group oriented end game content we have. Either that, or its time - I'm sorry, I know you'll all hate me for this - but its time to gimp emulate, and tone down the THM a bit.

    NM's are the ONLY End game content we have. 'Notorious Monsters' should NOT be solo-able by ANY class, period.

    -Side Quests are a joke, too simple. They should have parts to them. i.e. Hear the plot, then go grab item from NPC. Take item to next NPC - oh wait, item needs something done to it - so go to a 3rd NPC. 3rd npc wants parts - so go get part from this mob who stole it from him! Now he will do it but wants favor... go do favor... get thing done to item, return to NPC 2... he now needs this done... etc etc. Oh and hey - at the end of the quest (Awesome, or useful skill, awesome or usefull item/armor as a reward!)

    -I have other ideas too, but the guy before me actually shares the same opinion as far as they go

    I would like..

    - /l1 /l2 /l3
    - /lsmes1 /lsmes2 /lsmes3
    - /? that shows all text commands
    - /assist
    - for the claimed mob to be red on your UI (as it is now, it's only red on the mob it's self)
    - for the targeted party member to be highlighted on your UI with both main target and sub target
    - to be able to browse bazaars while running
    - to be able to buy stuff from peoples bazaars from afar
    - for action bars to save per class
    - close mob/people targeting priority (for some reason I always target stuff thats far away first)
    - be able to use archers quickstride without going into active mode (probably other abilities that need this too)
    - when "chat-specific keyboard" is on, be able to type 123,~`:;*)+=_-' etc with out having to prompt the chat bar with space
    - for peoples ranks to be displayed in UI when targeted just like how mob rank is displayed in UI when targeted
    - for leve counter to be a little more functional (when ever I'm trying to look at faction leves, the UI makes me cancle out to main list rather than return to the faction leve list)
    - to be able to put up more items for repair in my bazaar
    - barber shop! <.< oops that's a big thing huh? lol

    Im sorry Evol but I have to disagree with you.

    Even in ffxi a properly leveled and geared ninja with the right subjob was able to solo certain NMs.

    There's no reason why that cant work here in ff14, if you lost it to a guy who has been camping for his own stuff, working alone to reach his own goal you have no right to whine about it.

    Dear god the amount of times me and my LS wanted to rip the soloist head when we went as a group to get the yingyang robes for our summoners only to get the nm snatched by a good ninja/thief. But thats the game, if you can do it sweet! if not, get a group. Easy as that.

    I'm going to disagree with adding Auto-attack and jump. Jump wasn't added in any FF games for a reason, expect if you count the Dragoon ability which is entirely different. Auto-attack, just because it's everywhere. If you're trying to keep the game unique, just don't add that. I WOULD like to see:

    A) New payment method.
    B) Way to adjust the walk/view buttons on the keyboard.

    oh and i really think they should take out the (needing DoH stuff for events) i hated that i needed to have certain jobs lvled so i can craft something for an event, that makes no sense. events are supposed to be something for everyone to enjoy, a break from the normal gameplay but because of this, i now cant fully enjoy events without having a job that i dont care about lvled up. or i got to pay someone to make it for me, or just buy it from someone else. i think its completely wrong to require anything other than you yourself to enjoy an event.

    * More content to flesh out the time between ranks 15-50
    * More enemy diversity around all regions, especially the starting 3 (Beast Tribes for low-mid-high ranks, and more flan, diremites, hellhounds, couerls, behemoths, bats)
    * More equipment diversity at all ranks (make full use of the equipment polygon shaving system)
