DoL Luminary Weapon Question

i dont know if this was asked before but apart from the achievement you get from getting the luminary for ur DoL Class, i dont see any difference in the DoL 55 Weap and the Luminary Weap. can someone enlighten me about these Luminary Equipments?
I do know that the Luminary Weaps of DoH gives u the cool crafting tables, etc though.

Luminary tools are from the old version of the game before the 50 class quest tools came into the game, they are totally equal in stats. You may still choose to grind for your Luminary tools because they look different, and you get a title and achievement points.

I've actually read on the DoH board that the Luminary tools use the same basic table as a weathered tool. It's only the class quest tool that actually lets you use a fancy table when the craft uses the main tool.

Which sounds crappy seeing how much time it takes to get a Luminary tool.
