Judgement is Open for Membership

Founded in the summer of 2009 by Bloodmoney, as an enforcer clan for the Real Time Worlds'(RTW) Cops and Criminal themed MMO entitled, APB: All Points Bulletin. JUDGEMENT began as most gaming communities do, as an idea. The result was not a clan, or guild but a community with a structure that, we believe, truly promotes a democratic environment which is guided by the voices of its membership. Judgement-Gaming had taken shape.

Knowing that, in order to be different, Bloodmoney would first have to recruit some like minded individuals that would help to promote and secure this unique idea. It was not hard to discover many players who, like Bloodmoney, were frustrated with the majority of online gaming communities that that seem to move from one extreme (communities with no rules or structure) to the other (a rigid military hierarchy).

After a basic structure had been established, these core members worked out and revised that structure in order to promote the good of the community and protects the voices of its diverse membership. The result was not a clan, or guild but a community with a structure that, we believe, truly promotes a democratic environment which is guided by the voices of its membership. Judgement-Gaming had taken shape

WHAT MAKES JUDGEMENT DIFFERENT?

Although we do not claim to be the first of this kind, we are a democratically motivated online gaming community. What does this mean? This means that our membership decides by a voting process what games our clan plays, where it plays, and how it plays. Because new games are developed all the time, we leave what game the community wants to play up to the members. This democratic process is by no means limited to the games we choose, it essentially guides our day to day operations. Here you will find many dedicated members who donate their time and resources to making the community better. Whether it's investing money to keep our voice communication servers and website running, purchasing prizes for our many clan events or donating so that we may buy dedicated servers on which our members can play, our community is self-sustaining.

QUALITY OVER QUANTITY
Although our atmosphere is laid back and promotes fun first, we take our application process very seriously. The application may, at first glance, look a bit menacing; it is an important tool that we use to roughly gauge the kind of player you are, and whether or not our community will work for you!

PROMOTIONS AND LEADERSHIP
We refute the idea that in order to be appreciated within a community, one must climb some silly contrived rank structure. Judgement-Gaming's leadership positions are NOT power-oriented butACTIONoriented--that is to say, the structure is built upon one's level of involvement in the community and each position has responsibilitiesTO THE COMMUNITY, andNOT POWERS OVER IT.ALL MEMBERS OF THIS COMMUNITY HAVE AN EQUAL SAY AND OPPORTUNITY TO ADVANCE. Again, Judgement-Gaming encourages involvement and awards it's leadership positions based solely on performance and involvement within the community.

I joined these guys as soon as I could get on the server from my original home. Teamspeak is always a blast and everyone is always willing to help you get past those tough fights like Chimera, Hydra, Primals, etc.

We'll be tackling Coil soon enough, the majority of our players are still gearing up. We like to consider ourselves 'Casual-core' gamers. When we play we play hardcore but we have lives and families that don't allow most of us to spend 100+ hours a week in game (*short nostalgia break*).
