Endgame content on the PS3. Possible?

So I reached my first 50 a few days ago. I was excited to finally start diving into the end game content.

However, my PS3 has serious lag/stuttering/freezing/desyncing/(whatever-you-wanna-call-it) issues whenever I'm part of an 8 man team. Talking to friends who also play on PS3, they seem to all be suffering similar issues. Issues that it seems most PC players don't have.

I understand that at this point in its lifecycle, the PS3 is old. However, should they have released it on this platform if many players wouldn't be able to experience a lot of the content? Even CM is tough to complete since I can't even tell what's going on half the time. I don't even want to think of what Coil would be like with this problem.

Anyways, if anyone has any suggestions...I'm all ears. But I don't think there IS a way to solve this problem. Which is unfortunate, since I'll continue to play anyway haha

Hopefully the rumors that PS3 players will get the PS4 version for free are true. I'll play GTAV to pass the time.

It's more than a rumor. Was announced at TGS (or at least that's what the internet news sites would have me believe). So that much is nice to hear lol

as PC player...i wish they developed this game for PS4 :/

I must be lucky, I have an old fat boy 1st gen ps3 and ive had minimal issues. I play with my friend on pc and he has some of the latency issues that I have so i would assume thats more on SE side than my ps3.

I play this game solely on a 360 controller on the PC, so control wise, its possible. Even done AK and a few HM primals with ease with the gamepad. So control wise, its possible. Of course, the ps3 has hardware limitations, and once PS4 comes out, i bet the console players will begin to shine once they break from those limits.
