    I have better connection to JP servers than NA ones

    and I live in Las Vegas. My connection is always Excellent when I connect to JP servers, but only good for NA ones and I can feel the difference. I know it's unlikely, but is there anything I can do on my end to get better connection to NA servers?

    I have actually experienced the same thing. I messed around on JP servers while the whole NA server world full 1017 crap was going on. I had a better connection there then on the NA servers.

    I think most of the US/EU servers are in Canada...

    Also the Japanese connections aren't throttled like ours. Yay...'murica!

    There is definitely an issue for people in Los Angeles, and ping is better for JP than the NA/EU. Definitely a west coast issue....

    All I wish for is that the EU servers were actually in the EU than in Canada...(inc. Duty Servers for EU groups).

    NSA needs time to register packets sent to the game. You never know, bad people may use the game chat to plan world destruction.

    That's because you're playing during non peak times. They are having so many issues with congestion on the JP servers it's causing their servers to crash. They will be doing scheduled maintenence twice a week to clear out corrupted data to allow more people to login.
