Steps.
Today I got my 900th Mythology tokens. So happily I went to go buy the 3 mists that are required to make my relic +1
I brought the first bottle fine, clicked the mist again to buy another and it gives me a PLD helm instead of my mist?? even when i click to buy mist??
Checked my tokens. And I had 120 left somehow. So I relogged thinking it may not have updated the tokens I got recently. Now I only have 105 tokens apparently. And only one bottle of mist in my inventory.
Sooo effectively losing 495 tokens. I didn't know this could happen, so I didn't take any Screenshots.
Apparently if you don't reclick on the tab you're buying Mists from, even when you click to buy the mist the second time, it'll instead sell you the item that is where you clicked on... from the armor tab. So even though I clicked on the mist... it sold me a PLD helm.... Which is completely useless for me. i need a refund i clicked to buy mist and it gives me a item i dont even want. this is a bug beacuse people are buying there first mist, then clicking the mist again and the game is bugging out and giving the person the first item at the top of the armor tab. this is very annoying i know a few people this has happend to and we cant get our relics+1 for another 2weeks, people need to be refunded. this is very serious issue and making people very unhappy beacuse of the myth tome weekly cap. we need to be refunded for this bug please thank you.

I have had the exact same happen to me yesterday. I had 992 Mythology tomes, went on to buy the Thavnairian Mists. The first i could buy np, the second also gave me the Paladin Head.
I made a ticket ingame for it and the response i got was:

As you can understand i wasn't satisfied with this awnser since i didnt buy the wrong item by accident, cause it just gave me the Valor Coronet when buying the second Mist.
I have made 3 follow up tickets since then but havent got a response yet.

this needs to be addressed, i have no idea why we cannont be refunded for a flaw in the game, it doesn't even make sense.

i have also emailed them a few times and this is what they said.

What conclusion are they looking for? It's a bug, it needs to be addressed. People need/want better stuff to go into coil and not feel like they've wasted 3 weeks of farming for it and getting behind on everyone else.

I doubt you'll find anyone willing to waste circa 600 tomstones just to "prove" / record this ...

Yeah... don't have to find someone "willing" to waste them. I experienced the exact same issue 5 hours ago. I tried to quickly buy the 3 vials with my mythology tomestones. First one was a vial. Second one was a Valor Coronet. I'm not even getting a response for my tickets yet.

To emphasize that it was no simple mistake - the screen never changed from the materials screen. The Armor tab is 2 tabs over from the tab for the vials, so there could not have been a simple key misfire that brought up the armor purchase suddenly.

This probably could be "safely" tested by having someone buy one vial, then attempt but not actually purchase the second and see what item the menu says they are attempting to buy (taking a screenshot when it says they're buying a valor coronet from the wrong tab of the menu).

Now I have not had this issue personally, but if I intend to buy multiple items that have to be one at a time, I usually double check the Item Help Card or move the cursor up/down then back to what I am buying to avoid any mishaps. Especially with non-gil currencies.

That still doesn't excuse the fact that this is invariably a bug and they are doing nothing about it. It shouldn't be so hard for them to remove the Helmet from your inventory and add the one/two mists you were supposed to have bought.

Could even have an GM come in and hand you the required mists after you destroy the helmet, very easy to fix they just refuse to.

yes this is very easy to fix but they are refusing to which is pissing everyone off.
