Warriors - How to fix our damage mitigation

Simply don't.

In fact, reduce the penalty on Defiance, tweak it internally so our dmg output is behind dps classes but MUCH higher than paladin. Don't homogenize the classes/jobs, you wanted to make us a high risk high reward tank right? Then do it right!

Warriors are a high risk no reward class. Even if you did same damage as a DPS it is completely negligible in progression, it is not the tanks job to meet the DPS checks.

reflect x% is the best way i can think of for the tank to mitigate damage and maintain threat
shame its not there

Just that tweaking Defiance is the simplest solution i think, and it will actually give us the damage difference that should of been there to separate us from paladins.

Everyone keeps measuring themselves to Coil when in fact gear is missing in the game in order to do the content properly. Wait until Crystal Tower comes out and you will probably see them on par.

Bake the +heal into defiance, increase it to 25%, turn Inner Beast into a shield (Or a heal that heals for a % of the damage you took in the last X seconds)

Done, warriors fixed (probably!)

The thread, well by all means don't want to discourage the discussion of how to tweak warrior, but if you want something done you need to be listen.

Based on what? There is no significant difference in stat scaling for the two classes, it is the base abilities that give paladin a major advantage.

When you see all pug groups and guilds saying LF paladin instead of LF tank you know there is something wrong...

do you realize that paladin can tank coil with ilvl 70 gear? paladin doesn't need to wait for CT
