This is definitely on square's end due to the fact that pretty much my whole FC is plagued by these nonsense lag spikes and we have a wide range of players in both Australia and America..

Unbearable lag today

I just logged in this morning and i have been dealing with major lag all day. It is so bad i have had to put a halt on relic quests. The lag for me is basically i get 5 secs of no lag then everything stops for 3 seconds and jumps back to normal time back and forth. It is making game play unbearable. My connection status reads Good and was excellent this morning. I am guessing this is yet another one of the servers dummy spits when the going gets a little rough.

Surprise surprise it seems to coincide with the "emergency" maintenance SE performed. It always strangely seems to coincide with anything SE does. If they are using any other excuse then "yes we stuffed up again" then i don't buy it either. On the plus side i can brush up on my mining skills a little.

Nice I live over in Port Angeles and also have Wave Broadband. I called today to see if the lag was them and they said all was good, So its something to do with SE before the maintenance wed all was fine but since then I've had lag but today was so bad I was unable to play.

Every day between noon and 6pm CM/AK/HM primals all suffer massive lag spikes making it unplayable. At first I assumed it was my ISP, but after running a speed test, ping test, other programs I can confirm that it is the FF14 servers, and not anything on my local network.

I'm seeing rubberbanding everywhere last night, it's unbearable

I am also getting this freeze for few secs/rubberband since 2 days ago. Is very hard to keep up in dungeons or primal fights due to this.

Once again I've been noticing lag for me personally is only starting around 430am ST (I'm +8 hours 1230pm ) Its like the servers are doing some kinda heavy database work or just deciding to take a dump.

notice my data is complete fine hopping around to there servers so nothing is on my end, thats the problem. Is anyone else having these problems from 12pm/4am onwards?
