So care to explain why I'm lagging so bad with a 50 mbps connection? Didn't have these issues with XI mainly because the servers weren't in CANADA

Where are you lagging? Everywhere, or just in specific places? The DF can get pretty congested during primetime, leading to deadly lag spikes if you are unlucky. If I had to guess, they will continue increasing the stability of the DF servers (which are DIFFERENT from the regular world servers). Remember, Duty Finder is literally ANY instance... from class quests to primal battles to dungeons.

Speed of your connection has nothing to do with lag.
Latency is more of an issue.
Typically, you are dealing with communication issues in route, or it's simply congestion at the endpoint/server.
Have you researched your connection quailty (netstat to find IP's, run traceroutes), or at least been in contact with your ISP to see if they can look into it?
Refer to the Connection lag R(0) thread, as it sounds like you are having a similar problem to myself and others.
This guy owns the truth. On a side note, someone has the server/Datacenter's IP so I can run a tracert? I've been searching for them without success. Also, somebody knows if the use of programs that reduce latency are banned by SE?Speed of your connection has nothing to do with lag.
