Stats are more broken than we thought

I was just doing Ureus with my LS and for fun I decided to use a weathered shortbow and warped arrows over my crab bow + silver arrows. The result? I did the exact same damage to him with autoattack and weapon skills, and had the EXACT same accuracy. That is completely insane, weatered shortbow has 32 attack and 96 accuracy, while a crab bow has 127 attack and 165 accuracy.

Stats are doing pretty much NOTHING in this game! How is it that bad? I thought it was bad, but I didn't know it was this bad! X_X

Food also does nothing, I eat a meat miqabob and my damage stays the exact same.

I'm not saying you're lying or anything, but on this forum some documentation goes a long way! Some screenshots or video would help you not to get 2-3 pages of people questioning the credibility of your allegation.

To have stats not matter by this much must surely be a priority to change in the redesign of the battle system.

Yeah it's well known honestly, since archers use the wrapped arrows because it's cheaper and pretty much returns the same damage as the more expensive arrows.

so I don't care about any stat except Max HP/MP which really give you REAL thing

the core system is completely broken

the game now calculate mainly on Your Rank vs Monster Rank

no matter how much stats you have, no matter what gears you equip... they mean nothing

Yes, go try it out, I can fraps it or something but I don't really see the point. I'm going to attack the goblin NM in a few seconds and I can screenshot the damage or fraps or something?

Seriously though, this gives us NO REASON at all to get gear or try for HQ's or anything, it's really silly ;_;

the fake +7 stats ring which giving you nothing

Reminds me of how i used the new Flametounge against Dodore and did the same amount of damage as my +1 R48 weapon.
