Crystal Gathering too Slow

For all You crafters/Gatherers out there how long has it taken you to gather enough shards to craft Efficiently ?

For me it takes 2 hours with Miner LVL 42 with the shard yield abilities to get to 1k shards i personally think that is too slow

i can think of some solutions
*Make the shard yield Fixed @ 2 or 3
*Make the Shard gathering abilities cost less around 100GP-150GP
*Add a trait that Increases yield total for each Shard Gather ability
*Have all enemies drop At least 1 Shard/Crystal per kill with a 75% chance (Like 1.0)
*Have alchemy class create crystals (Like 1.0)
*Make GP like CP
*Make Shards a Fixed sell-able rate say around 5 gil a piece maximum

I burned through 400 shards in two levels below level 30 as a Weaver. This was with creating all of my yarn and cloth, not buying them on AH. Two levels, when leveling is still relatively fast and easy.

finally some one who understands crafting also not only that but the lvl 50 recipies cost 5-6 shards per synth

so with 2 hours of gathering, you get shards to get about 4 levels for your craft, xp on your gatherer and materials to sell, and make money off of what you craft? Crafting is far too easy and levels way too fast already. I'll admit that sometimes shards should drop from enemies that arent sprites sometimes.. like 25-50% though. If you want more shards, buy them. you arent meant to farm everything you need on one class to get your xp points for another class. you CAN do it, just wont be in a timely fashion. Its sorta like saying that i want to level cooking, but it takes too long to catch all of the fish myself, so give me fish faster.

i bet you dont even craft or gather thats why you are posting comments that make my points invallid (Fishing Doesnt count You dont get Shards from that)

I think around lv 30-35, instead of 4 shards, a recipe should start requiring 2 crystals. At least crystals are worth decent exp. to gather.
