What's your way to make money ?

Hey guys !
I'm derping around at the time trying to make some gils, cause i REALLY wanna buy that Vanya Robe and Hat !

But i got chocked by the price : 400k for the HQ ? O.o
Since i started the game, i've been running around 20-50k but never reached over though...

I started a botanist lately, level 31 now, but i still can't figure how people make such money (when i hear housing will cost 3M...)

So, got any detailed guides on how to farm gils for beginners ?

Keep running WPs, sell the Tomestone materials for gil. If you want Vanya gear, you should be buying Potash anyway. Once you've farmed enough for your gear (9, 18, or whatever), sell extra ones for any more gil you need.

10-15 minute WP runs is one of the best sources of gil in the game atm.

Other options include gathering and spiritbinding, but results may vary on that. I suggest WPs.

You need Potash to make Vanya gear, so buy that and save yourself gil. Just look for people in Mor Dhona who spam WTB Material, there are always a few of them.

aetheryte rings sometimes drop level IV materia, sells for quite a lot on the market (375k for vit materia IV yesterday)

Farm tomes, buy mats (potash, peacock ore, etc.), sell them for 25k each on MB or sell them in Mor Dhona, profit. Making gil as a Botanist is tough as there are a lot of bots who will undercut any real profit you could be making, but you can always farm shards (fire, ice, lightning, etc.), then later crystals, then later clusters and sell those in bunches for a good chunk of gil. There are many ways to make massive amounts of gil, but those are well known enough to just throw out there. Leveling a DoH is also a good idea, but keep in mind some make more than others (for example your Vanya Robe + Hat :P).

Do some Ak wp speed run. It may be slow but it's profitable. Made 70k in two weeks. Course you can also sell the allagan bronze u get as well.
