New large maintenance this week (10 hours) + new content ... !

At the following time, in order to add new content to Worlds, enhance instance Worlds, further enhance Duty Finder performance, and to address several confirmed issues, we will be performing maintenance on all Worlds.

During this period, FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn will be unavailable.

I'm not sure that exactly qualifies as new content. But it certainly is nice to see them addressing current issues.

It says new content in the first line - so something will be added for sure. How large will be the addition is another thing ... it could be as minute as those training dummies they've added last time ... who knows. We need to wait for the patch notes on that.

I think then that we are just having a conflict of definition. New content to me is a little more than just adding training dummies. Adding a new class or seasonal event boss or along those lines.

Otherwise, in just my opinion, its updates. Fixing problems and implementing small things that missed release. (Training dummies, small fixes to the UI, like the ability to blacklist a player by clicking on their name and so on)

But I will admit when I stand corrected on the patch notes. I guess I missed that. But I have a feeling its not new content by my definition. Just focusing on stability.

Though I did remember reading somewhere (I can't find it now that I need it, of course) That they were suppose to address Character Transfers and other paid services Monday or Tuesday.
