You can get the Chocobo Egg Cap from the Spriggan NPC at one of the cave/dungeons by giving him one of each elemental egg. He doesn't take the special eggs like Dark, Painted, Coloured, etc. For Thanalan, that would be the North Most area on the west side of Nanawa Mines.

As zuelni stated you dont need the special eggs, just the 8 elemental ones

Ziggy is in nanaway, Iggy in Cassopia (6,8)

Hmm... I'm in a cave at those exact coordinates, Not seeing anything yet, just Moraby Moles.

EDIT: They appeared at 36,20 for me. They can pop at different caves

For Black Shroud the npc is loacated at 5,5 in muy tuy. You'll want to be at least lvl 30 to get to him or have help.

The Cassiopeia Hollow Spriggan for the Choco hat can be gotten to solo at ~R25. There are a pair of ~R30 Revenants guarding it, but they can be pulled separately. There are no other aggro mobs between the aetherial gate and Iggy.
