Steps: got the quest from limsa lominsa. talked to npc in swiftperch. went to journal to initiate. lag from crappy server at the time made the initiate button into the abandon button. quest dissapeared from journal. npc acts as though i still have it and mini map still shows the orange circle.
also this is the 3rd time ive had to post because you cant read and figure things out its pretty simple and ive now been stuck with this issue since before the official release and havent been able to do anything but fates and grinding.

Canthor is my IRL husband and I would like to add a few things to the bug report he filled out.

Quest Name: Leves of Swiftperch
Type of Internet Connection: VDSL2
Date & Time: August 18, 2013 (He has been trying to get this fixed since it happened. Your help would be greatly appreciated.)
Race: Hyur
NPC Name: Swygskyf (a Roegadyn, I believe)

I also think that the easiest way to fix this is to reset the quest for him, so that he can try again to accept it, now that the servers aren't being so uncooperative.

Ahoy there! Let me just grab a few more details and I can see if we can get this to the right parties. Is it "Leves of Swiftperch" that disappeared from the journal? Or the trial leve associated with it? If you could stick a screenshot of your journal (Current Tab) in there, that would help, too. Sorry about the inconvenience.

My husband says that it is the trial leve associated with "Leves of Swiftperch". And if you still need the screenshot, we can get that for you once maintenance is done. :-p

it wont let me add a screenshot but as it stands it has leves of swiftperch on the journal and no leves to speak of
