Lag Spikes

I just need to make sure that the problem I have is documented.

Similar to other threads, I am getting lag spikes that render the game mostly unplayable.

I don''t believe the problem is on my end. On Behemoth world I get lag spikes every minute or two. And they last for 10-15 seconds. I have tried to play on different worlds. On Siren the lag spikes are barely noticeable by comparison. And on Tiamat I had no lag spikes at all.

If I use the duty finder to play with a group, I am useless because the spikes are constant. And it gets so bad sometimes that I fall out of sync with the group and cannot target certain party members.

All I can do is play solo. Even then it is annoying and causes death of my character.

Please give me a sign that you are aware of an issue on server end. And that you have a plan to fix it.

Update.

got it again, it started at 5pm and got worse and worse as time went by. Its like a lag freeze for 2 seconds then a crazy speed up. These lag spikes happen every 10 seconds.

I have been having this issue since last maintenance, the game is unplayable with this crap. There have been numerous post about this issue and no fix yet announced.

Ever since the last patch, the game is unplayable with all the lag I get. I haven't had a single lag issue till now. Makes instances/dungeons a nightmare. I even get it a lot when interacting with anything either an npc or a quest item, it freezes for a bit or I get dc with 90000.

The board is pretty much full of it, I don't dare doing anything duty finder related since the spikes are random.
Sometimes I just get a delay and get hit even when on my screen I'm out of the red circle 3 seconds pre hit.
The other time the screen stops, nothing happens and than it speeds up to catch up.

It tends to be worse during peak times.
It just feels like the servers can not handle the load.

These lag spikes are TERRIBLE!!! I cant progress with these cause it lead to 90000(every damn 10mins) errors for me. I cant use duty finder and i dare not use fate battles! The game is OFFICIALLY unplayable for me. Been waiting so long to play this just for this crap to stop me. Can a dev please comment on this?

Same here, game is still unplayable for me since the maintenance. I haven't been able to play for 3 days now and I guess I won't be able to for a at least a few more days.
But what really angers me is that no one answers. As if SquareEnix just won't care. This is especially sad since FFXIV is a great game, but I will not subscribe under these circumstances.

Same for me on Excalibur. Any instance (Castrum Meridianum, Amdapor Keep, Hydra fight) I suddenly get lag spikes and my screen freezes for 10 seconds. Sometimes the freeze goes over into a DC and 90k error.

Quite annoying, can't play at all.

I've reason to believe that fates are causing this... All the power levelers in 4 different full parties in one area trying to attack 15 targets at one given time is causing some serious issues in areas of the game.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was due to either sloppy coding with the new rushed auto timeout that is causing all the issues or if square reopened digital sales and new user influx is the issue, but what ever the issue it makes game unplayable.
