WOW I AM SO MAD. ANYWAYS.


On the hydra part of quest, accepted quest and zoned into Hydra solo. Didn't know how to leave, didn't want to die so I abandoned quest...and it didn't do anything. So I got killed and left.

Went back to Geralt, accepted quest....and it put me at stage 1. I have the Unfinished Thyrus equipped....

What do?

edit: I created a ticket in game, describing the problem and telling the GM or whatnot to not refer me to the forum because I have already created the post... I even LINKED THEM THIS POST, and I get the general copy pasta reply.

You probably don't wanna hear this, but this isn't a bug and therefore does not belong here. I would suggest you to open a ticket.

Hahahah open a ticket. Thats what I did. You know most games have a general standard copy paste reply to a ticket right? I created this post first before creating a ticket. I LINKED them this exact post, and even so, their reply shows that whoever replied did not even read the ticket. All I can do is #GMMauksee #GMQeepel

I have the same problem. Mistakenly dropped the quest without reading thinking it was another one (I know it's my fault). I was at Hydra too, I still have Unfinished Gae Blog equiped and I don't want to start over. I really need help on this.

I don't mind a roll back or something, but I really really want to go back to the quest ASAP.

Like an idiot I wanted to drop a quest and without reading the quest I was dropping I dropped the relic quest because I miss clicked the quest... I invested a lot of time and gils in this quest, I'd like to get back on it ASAP. Thank you.

As of this post, I've just moved on and did the quest again. First time I legit farmed the shit and didnt cost me much, only 10k for crafters meld tip. Now I just blew 200k or so because quicktongue III is lame.

Pretty sure everyone that reads this, it was our own fault for being a derp and abandoning quest instead of just dying to the hydra.

But what I am still pissed about is the stupid copy pasta to tickets without even reading the godamned ticket. I linked to this post and they told me to make a post.

I don't expect any recompensation so just goodluck to everyone who has this problem.

I too accidentaly abandoned relic quest
I was up to the part to fight hydra for the relic quest and tried to leave durring a wipe to save time and mistakenly abandoned the relic quest. When i picked up the quest it was at the start. I did kill hydra with the unfinished weapon equipped. I have since killed ifrit also. plz help.

Like the others I accidentally abandoned the hydra quest when attempted to leave the duty. (Apparently you can only leave when you die). Retaking the quest returns you back to the first step of A Relic Reborn. Submitting tickets has only gotten me templated auto responses, and I have been told my problem shouldn't happen by others, though this might be misguided information. I don't mind taking another 5 days of effort to get back to where I was, but if possible I'd like to gain my gil or materials back, as my funds are reduced.
