Allagan gear is ilvl 90 and ties or are better than af+1 some of the allagan weapons are better than their relic+1 counter parts too. So stop talking out of your behind when you say bound coil of bahamut doesn't drop gear.

Does the Artifact +1 look exactly like the Artifact gear but increased stats?

It looks a bit like it but with some minor changes(for whitemage anyhow as that's what I am) and a lot better stats. The slight change to appearance won't really be noticed by anyone unless they are aware there is differences.

Actually, even the drops from Wanderer's Palace is better than the AF gear.
