Subscription and Error 1017

I believe that I have used up all my patience wasting my time trying to get into my server only to get the annoying Error 1017. It suggest that I have to try again later, but after several minutes turned into an hour, to 2 hours...I am convinced that I've had enough.

After this 30 days is over, I will not continue to play this game.

I am convinced that either you're bullshitting me that someone is managing the login 24/7 or you're simply just don't care how much frustration you are creating. It doesn't help that the limitation is done on purpose to keep players out...so why do I have to pay? You took my money, why don't I get to play?

Don't even bother answering my question because I'm already drained from getting frustrated every day trying to enjoy this game only to get kicked out by either the game crashing or the server disconnecting, then I get Error 1017 when trying to get back, not even a reconnect feature is in place.

I'm just done.

It's ridiculous to think that they offer us 8 characters per server upto 40 characters total and I cannot even login to ONE!

You know what I find to be silly? After only a few days, you act as if this will be a permanent problem. You have a month's subscription and SE plans to give usan extra free week. To be so impatient is just plain silly.

SE has already announced that they are fixing it. the reason for the error was because the amount of people was much higher than anticipated and it broke the dungeon servers. Remember when we couldn't que for dungeons on the first couple days? They decided to temporarily limit the amount of logins until they could find a fix (world is too full error). They think they've found a fix and they're going to test it for a few days before they're sure. We should get it sometime next week.

Miya, even EA fixed Sim City faster than this. 1 free extra week doesn't make up for lost time. I work a lot and want to play when I can, not when their servers happen to have capacity. I'm going to be going out of the country for the next 4 days, I was planning to play up until I leave for the airport tomorrow to get my levels up a bit more. Instead SE has planned "emergency" maintenance blocking the time I paid to play. I've spent the past 3 hours getting 1017. SV3 and the others are spot on and their expectations are not silly, we're trading $ for a service and that service isn't available when we need/want it to be.

Don't get me wrong, I understand the problem and the solution they are trying to do, but it would be stupid (and silly) of me to continue to give them my money and not able to play. They already have the money I paid for my CE, I just chose not to give them anymore until this ridiculous mismanagement is resolved.

i understand as well but for this being my first MMO im not gona let it kill my spirits so to speak. this game has only been launched officially a week tomorrow morning. so its gona have some BS to clear out before it works correctly and I understand that. but from what ive seen the only time to login with out problems is either late at night or early in the am and not every one is able to do so most of the time. they also need to modify the game as to where it can tell us as the players if the servers are full and if there is an opening to be able to login to play. plus add a feature for a waiting list to que into the game even. I think that this alone would get rid of a little stress. not all but some.
