    I applied another layer of color and some rough details to the mirror, also added a shadow on the wall.
    Now this shadow is not very realistic but that its fine, it adds a nice detail and hits that he is holding a knife.
    adding elements that tell something and tie parts of the image together is what makes a picture interesting. It is part of composition and story telling.

    You can see the shadow of the knife in WIP 4 already. The tip of the knife blade i will be adding at the end, the BG is still too rough, a fine detail would only be in the way.
