If I had to guess I'd say he uses Corel painter. but that's only a guess.

Hmm, been trying to achieve a more "inky" look like this with Illustrator...not an easy task ><; Flash actually has a nice drawing set up also, and lets me do opacity based on pressure, but I never get anything like this. Is Corel vector or pixel based?
