great work! beautiful. i must ask: what program do you use to draw with?? (I jumped to the conclusion this was tablet drawing when you said you use a "grey background", correct me if im wrong lol)

If I had to guess I'd say he uses Corel painter. but that's only a guess.

Wacom has some affordable entry level tablets. You can see if you get some older model.
Mind that it is harder to draw on a tablet than on paper, it takes time and practice to get used to it.

Talent is no other than lots of hard work, practice, motivation and dedication.

Your work is beautiful. Awesome, awesome job. I really need to work on my drawing. Since I got into computer graphics (almost 20 years ago), I hardly ever draw anymore, and it's really become apparent. The wiring between my brain and drawing hand has been severely severed. Considering I need to draw a lot of concept art for a project I'm working on, I should really be doing more practicing, eh?

Another option for tablets is a company called Monoprice. They make tablets that are far cheaper than Wacom's offerings and, from pretty much every review I've read, are quite excllent. The only recommendation being that you buy a separate pen from them, as the one packaged with the tablet "feels kinda cheap".

I'm meaning to pick one up myself, but keep getting side-tracked with my money lol.

For example, pledging to the Kickstarter for Dreamfall: Chapters. Although, that's something I donated money to happily.
