Error code: 2002

I was about to zone out of my inn in Ul'dah. First I get the 90k'd. So I close out completely. I try to log in now, I am getting the following: "The lobby server connection has encountered an error." 2002

Same here. Got 90k, then 2002. But I also managed to get to char selection but then I get 1017 before even seeing my char.
Also the forums are slooooow!

Forums is crashing. If it is not crashing, it is very very slow to respond.

They bought the servers down, which is great news for everyone because all the AFK's will be out of the way when they restart them!

If they brought the servers down it was without warning, which you do not do, and all of the worlds show up.

And I don't think they brought down JP and NA/EU at the same time, you cant get to ANY world list right now if you get the 2002 error

So the main post says it's due to unstable connection but my husband is playing no problem right next to me....we have the same internet....so....NO....

Good point. It's probably more akin to "the servers crashed."

Also, both sets of servers (Japan and NA/EU) were down, but guess which set of servers was back online in a matter of minutes...

Also JP servers are up. And that's what I am playing on. My friend and my husband have not once been disconnected and they are still playing at this moment...

Note: I waited about 10/20 minutes trying to find an actual reason didn't find one but it let me back in again.
I think if you give it sometime the error will fix itself. Also NA/EU servers still look like they are down.

Same was leaving my inn, got 90k, tried to get back in 2002 and then If it manages to load do not even get to see my character and get 1017 or unable to retrieve world server list.
