If my wife could do this without me guiding her, anyone can. She is new, just hit 40 Bard and a total casual player like me. She basically said she followed my advice from a previous duty and took down the adds as they come out and then kill boss. That was all to the fight. I wish I could've seen it since I did this 2 years ago, I don't remember a thing, but there was nothing to it. She said she felt quite proud when I told her how difficult it is known to be and she did it without a sweat.

wait, don't blm get sleep? Pretty good CC if i remember correctly, have you tried using that? Stories and class quests are going to put you to the test, there is always a way to beat them, as a whm i had to use my transpose during a ton of story missions to wind, and when all else fails doesn't your ice 2 bind? OR is it just heavy? Either way, there is a way to do it, sleep a mob, burn the others down use potions a lot. You'll figure it out just keep trying.

Just play as a SCH and make sure Eos heals you while your heal Drillemont. I know this is old but I found this after I failed this quest two times as SMN (Lv. 40).
