alright i've almost done each city just a few more eggs to get. yuuki and thalazar are working double time to see if its a matter of getting each nations done first! HOPEFULLY this will work, as far as not being able to keep more than one on me at a time well.....thats what retainers are for XD but yeah WORKING ON IT!

I already have all 3 city-states' quests completed.

Now, both NPCs in each group have an exclamation mark, and I can keep on receiving eggs and I can keep on exchanging them to receive more pristine egg caps.

I'm just gonna hoard eggs as much as I can.

In Gri I got all the eggs I needed from the NPC and got the hat.

Then I bought the same set of eggs and NPC says he won't give me a second.

Went to Ul'd and got quest from NPC there.

Talk to other NPC in Ul'd to get hat but also says he can't give to someone who already has one.

Currently waiting to get quest from Gri again to see if it will change. (doubt it)

Also did some leves and grinding with egg cap on hoping maybe I could get an egg or something that way. Nothing happened.

Saubapu - to get another egg cap, you just need to put your current one in your retainer. On one character, you can get a total of 6: one per inventory (your own and two retainers) and one per bazaar.

Yes but people don't want multiple of the same...they want to get the next rank of egg cap.

Girlie thank you for the info but Naylia is right, the big question is how to get the other caps.

I've tried talking to NPC's with the cap on and off, nothing. Opened treasure chests (including red ones) with it on and off, nothing. I've been to hamlets and find nothing.

As frustrating as it is, this is fun trying to figure it out. Hope there are simialr quests going forward!

Ok first take a look at this, there are many more eggs in the dat files.

To complete the quest from each city you must discard the current Pristene Egg Cap as the NPC will say something like "you are greedy, we can only give each person 1 egg cap" etc

I'm unsure if you are able to actually hold more than one Unique item in this game.

I'm still unclear how to get the other eggs which I am guessing must be related to getting the other caps, of course this could be timed content or it could just be that the other eggs are very rare, although if that is the case surely someone would have got one by now.

You don't have to discard it, someone explained earlier how you can have up to 6 of a unique item on the same character. Unique items only allow you to hold one on any given list.
