Questions about FF14 ARR

LIke the title said i got some question about FF14 ARR.

1.Do you need to register your Linkshell anywhere to see it on the FF14 website?

2.With the Linkshell ranks which does what?

3.As WoW have gear/weapons that are green/blue/purple etcc what means how rare and strong they are does FF14 got something like that too?

4.With Free Companies how do you rank it's lvl up and geter beter REP with a grand company?

5.Why cant i post on another forum just new players help?

1. No you should see both linkshells and free company allocations on server update which i think is 15mins give or take.
2. If you mean Free company and that gives you access to more free company perks such as bigger company bank. never seen linkshell ranks on my game
3. Yes unique gear (often unsellable) comes in four flavors as far as we know green tint, pink tint, solid blue, solid purple they are arrange by rarity. Greens are uncommon and some are craft made, pink are drop specific (Dungeons) and have variable stats so better some worst, solid blue are quest rarities but only are used so far for artifact armor, and purple being the most rare which is used for relic weapons.
4. For specific rank I am unsure if it is just quest or if it is achievement based as well but for rep it is quests completed by members
5 Its either level passed or time since joining that restricts you.

For 5, you must be L25 to post outside of Tech Support, In-Game Bugs, or New Player Help. As to why? Probably because of what happened to General Discussion during beta. It was overloaded with shallow threads that tended to bury the worthwhile ones.

You can post max 3 post every 24 hours however for many people here the counter never resets so you might be never able to post again on restricted areas ... IDIOTIC!

I did that so many times i am lvl 25+ and still cant post anywhere els :S whats wrong with the forum!!
