Ok- i have now tried restarting PC, router, and using system restore to go back to BEFORE todays launcher patch.
Start the launcher, it redid the patch and.... same error.
FML.
having the same problem. i tried restarting everything but it didn't work.

I've tried uninstalling the game, delete the FFXIV folder in my documents/my games. Tried re-installing and redownload everything, but it still gives me the same error codes after key in ID/Pass/Token, which can't even start the download of the game..
Honestly this is just ridiculous. I've never had so many problems or be so frustrated at a game before

This is bad, there isnt a repair function to repair these kind of errors on the launcher. why dont an admin answer this post already for god sake.
Run as admin!
Some things that can solve the problem:
1. Uncheck the case "Read Only" in the Properties of your Square-Enix and My Games/Final Fantasy XIV: ARR folders
2. Run as administrator
3. Use compatiblity mode to XP.
That worked for me last time I had this problem. But that's still a shame we have to go through this to update every time, and since the beginning of beta tests.
