completed step 8 . onward to step 9 . i go to the location to " discover portal" like i did with chimera but there is no access point or discover option available at dungeon location. what am i missing (( completed all steps and quest prolog to end of step 8))

Necro powers confirmed. Assuming youre referring to the steps in the order listed on the first page of this thread, then step 9 is... complete level 50 dungeon Amdapoor Keep. You might have to talk to rowena/gerolt before this counts(make sure theyve sent you for the glyph before you do the dungeon). If the issue is that you cant enter said dungeon, then complete the dungeon unlock quest first.

You should have recieved it when you reached that step of the quest. Just take a look in your armory chest. It's a regular "white" weapon.

My gf was working on the Summoner job relic weapon quest and finally got the Erudite Picatrix of Casting weapon and melded the two Savage Arm III materia via the npc melder, but Gerolt still has the red bubble and says she still needs said weapon with said materia. Did we miss something, is it a bug? I’m sorry if something like this was already discussed in the forum, but I haven’t been able to find any comments about it so far.

Double check that you have the right materia. Looking at the completed quest in my Journal, the smn relic requires Savage Might 3, not Savage Aim 3 (assuming Arm was a typo).

And you also probly have to have the weapon in your inventory, not equipped.
