Could I ask question about Job and status? I figured that only BG might already researched into this.
1. Is there a status cap? with full dark light gear and relic weapon would that make main status at near cap for level 50? I'm a WHM, and having nearly all Dark Light right now, I wonder if I should reset my +30 MND from bonus into VIT or something else if my MND may exceed cap ? (it is just my guess, but I feel like my cure doesn't improve with anymore MND atm)
2. I believe this is the question where everybody waiting for. Best gear MNK vs Best gear DRG. Who could do more DPS on single enemy boss? I believe only the best player who master all the skills and use parser program can answer this.
No stat caps as far as we can tell. Due to itemization, I would predict that if there are any stat caps implemented, they are at such a high number they will never be reached.
There are less gaps between the DPS jobs than there were in during beta phases. DRG and MNK can get very close to each other on single-target. BRD is much better than we thought from beta testing. We won't proscribe anything for others; go to training dummies and see for yourself (level 1s work fine, there is no level correction for raw damage output).
Just cleared the first turn tonight as non-legacy. Amazingly fun and perfectly tuned to push us to the limit. A really tough encounter for ilvl70 gear for sure but will become quite a bit easier for well organized groups with crystal tower stuff. Looking forward to turn 2!

so Bard is no weaker than DRG or MNK in DPS aspect? even though most people believe they become semi-support class now.
as CNJ, do you think MND is more important or VIT is more important? I heard some rumor said that VIT is better end-game wise, because the cure is pretty much overheal already, and extra point should go to VIT.

Don't misconstrue what I said; I stated that BRD is better than we thought from previous beta phases. We don't know what the optimal DPS ceilings are for every class yet. As for stat allocations, all I'll say is that damage intake across the board is very high.so Bard is no weaker than DRG or MNK in DPS aspect? even though most people believe they become semi-support class now.
