Umm archer makes no sense as the blm sub. The guild even suggests you go to the pugilist guild during one of the thaum class quests. We need more confirmation.

I've seen it said BLM requires Thaumaturge and Arcanist, Thaumaturge and Pugilist, and now Thaumaturge and Archer, since I'm a few levels off I can't confirm anything myself.

Well just saw screenshots showing blm is in fact thm/archer. Guess that is right but still makes no sense to me at all

Arcanist makes more sense than Archer, that's for sure

This is some great info thanks. I am going for White Mage. A little off topic but what would you all suggest as a profession for that character? Goldsmithing, Leather working? I am level 18 and haven't even started a profession yet, I don't know where to begin. ( don't mean to derail thread) I can't make my own yet.
