What to Do With v1.x Key Items?

I have stuff like a Commemorate Coin and an emerald leaf from my GC. I think these used to be key items, too. In ARR they are just normal items, unsellable und basicly just waisted space. Is there -any- use for them?

Not sure about the coin, but there's some GC key item stuff that you can sell back to the GC for seals (like On the Properties of Beastman etc).

I haven't tried selling back my Emerald Leaf since I just got access to GC before servers went down for maintenance, but I'm assuming it'll be the same as the Properties of Beastman thing

Yes, all former key items that were part of the GC or were bought with GC can now be turned in for seals. Make sure you don't turn in stuff while you're close to cap though (50K for the highest current rank iirc).

What about GC Armors? In 1.0 you could wear any grand companies armor if i remember correctly, I know they made you join and get seals with all 3.

Im flame now, but I have Storm and Adder gear I can't wear, I can't sell, and I can't donate to my FC.

Yes, you can turn in unwanted gear for GC points at your Grand company.

Just talk with the NPC at the counter. It's the quatermaster I believe.

How to turn in the Emerald Leaf for seals? I talked to all the NPCs of the GC, but can't turn it in.

To quote a CM on this matter:

Yes! We actually mentioned this previously, but you have two options.

You can hang on to them in case you ever do switch to the respective Grand Company, which will allow you to use them once again. Or you can trade them in for Grand Company seals via Expert Delivery Missions, which will be unlocked once you reach the right Grand Company rank.
