Crafting quest help

I decided to poke around on WVR tonight, and I got to the level 5 guild quest where you have to make 3 pairs of hempen breeches and turn them in to the guildmaster. So i make the breeches, but when I go back to the NPC, the symbol is red and angry, and not letting me turn in anything.

What am I missing D:

(I haven't crafted since 1.0....so I have no clue wtf I'm doing at this point)

did you switch classes before handing them in???

I'm not sure -- haven't done any crafting quests in 2.0 -- but it might be that your level is too low to turn it in. I suspect that because I've been able to finish a few sidequests, and then couldn't turn them in because my level was too low. (Yes, it's odd that they'll give you a quest and then not let you turn it in, but that seems to be how it works sometimes.) Fortunately, the quests are still there when you hit the required level to turn it in.

If you click on the NPC, despite their color being red, sometimes they'll give you a reason why you can't complete the quest. So when I had problems completing, it said that I had to wait until I was level 15 or whatever.

I havent switched classes since I started working on WVR But I did go through my classes juuust in case, and still no luck. Regarding being too low, it's the level 5 quest, and I'm 6 (shouldnt have been able to flag it if I was too low).

I'm sure I'm missing something extremely obvious, but I just don't know where to go at this point :/

You CAN flag and complete, but not turn in quests if your lvl is low. But when it comes to class quests, that's never the case. Minimum lvl to unlock the quest = minimum lvl to turn in the quest. Make sure that you have every item the NPC asked for and that you didn't accidentally craft the wrong thing or not enough of the item. And like other ppl have said, make sure you're a weaver when you try to turn it in. Other that, I guess you could try relogging.

It could be that although you have enough items crafted some might be HQ and those will not count towards the total (at least that was the "issue" in previous betas, not sure if it's fixed already).

theres no recipe in the book which will work
no hemp breeches..... only hemp breeches with xy - and these the npc doesnt accept
