FFXIV:ARR release is finally here, as we all know, and one of the great things is the Free Company perks and rewards. Finding the right company will make a difference in the company housing, achievements, and whatever else Yoshi-P has in store. I'm excited about these, and I hope you are, too.

The problem is, it's hard to start and maintain a company, especially if it plans on doing end-game progression, pvp ladders, and push to get those FC perks.

It's even harder finding a stable company with a decent family. Some groups have a good core, but just can't find enough to fill the spots, or get enough to keep going if/when some players' interest starts to wain.

Night's Bane is pushing to be that stable company.

By pushing open recruitment and having a unique leadership approach, we will boost our community to get the resources for larger rewards, have not one but several end-game groups, and be able to meet the needs of both hardcore and social gamers.

Who we're looking for:

Most likely you

- We are looking for skilled players to push progression.
- We are looking for fun people to help with guild-wide silly events.
- We are looking for crafters and gatherers to help support our players and help each other push for higher profits.
- We are looking for pvp players who aren't just good, but fight together with some coordination.

- Most importantly, we're looking for team players. MMOs are intensely boring when played solo, so we're looking for people who will level, quest, chat, and play together. Of course individuals are accepted, but we want to be the company where you can bring your friends and family.

What we expect from you:

We have a reasonable expectation of civility. The company leader and officers will be there to act as mediators if anything happens, and while it would take an extreme situation to be removed, it may be necessary in the end.

We expect you to match your commitments. If you push to be a gatherer and can't get materials for the crafter, the crafter is at a loss. If you push to be progression and skip game nights, the whole team is at a loss. While we don't require much to be a part of the company, the smaller focus groups may have more stringent requirements, and we hope that you will honor them if you choose to take part.

What you get:

A strong community. With a larger company, it will be easier to find people that match your interests and schedule. Benefits reaped by one group can be shared to the others.

A fun community. Smaller groups can start to isolate themselves, so I'll be pushing for guild wide activities to include all members. These will be on the sillier side of things, but hopefully a bribe of prizes and fun will pull in more people.

A responsible community. I will not be leading the focus groups. These will be autonomous, which means if you want to lead, there will be ample opportunity. If you are trying to start a company with just a handful of people, start a focus group here instead. This will give you the ability and resources of a large company, and still let you create the policies for your focus group. You create schedules, loot rules, maintain your section in the forums, get a vent channel, and push for your goals. The company leader and officers will be responsible to act as mediators and for any help needed. The squad leaders will be responsible for those who choose to be under them.

Advantages:

The advantages to working like this are huge. Normally, if your company falls apart, it loses the rep, rewards, and members break up to go to different companies. If something happens in this company, you have a large recruiting pool and if your squad does break up, you don't lose the rewards you worked hard to get. You can join another squad within the company.

Question: Is the cannon some sort of mechanic penguin floating in space, shooting down lasers? Because if so, YES.

And B.) Does the Orbital cannon instead fire penguins of some sort? Because also, YES.

The cannon consists of a large penguin shaped ship with 6 penguin shaped rockets to move it. It shoots highly volatile penguin-projectiles to rain doom and destruction down upon all things.

Its kind of like if you took the penguins from that one really old and terrible batman movie (the ones where penguins run around with rockets strapped to them) and turned that into a giant space ship.

Hey all, a friend and I are interested in learning more about Night's Bane, mostly meeting members from it, getting to talk personally with you all, etc...

We've already taken our time to read your website (we love the way you guys have your organization and structure setup. Makes us think of strike teams, so that fits our fancy), but would love to know if there's any Linkshells for potential recruits, etc...

Some info about us, we're interested in Progression Raiding, but we have some wonky schedules due to being in Grad School (and being in our final semester).

Also, my buddy is a lvl 50 Bard, and I'm a lvl 50 Paladin as our current mains.
