Raise and Cure!
Bummpppp it!
Bump for me!
If companies quit promising early access as a pre-order perk that they can't deliver then this wouldn't be as bad as it is. If this were a stress test or another pre-launch testing phase, the difficulties could be justified.
EA is attractive to a lot of people and boosts pre-orders, but people have a right to be severely disgruntled when they get little to no play time on what is supposed to be a finished game that they were granted early admission to as something they paid for.
Before I'm saying what I'm going to say... I'm not neglecting you do have troubles logging in and playing.
But...
I haven't had any trouble getting in and play up until now (knock on wood). I didn't get early access until monday... Sure it takes me a few tries to get in the queue, but when I do I get in within the minute...
Having said that, I do understand your frustration. But please give SE some time to try and fix it. Many of your arguments are valid, but it's the way it is and SE is aware of it and working on it. Don't forsake such a great game because of a rocky start.
It's not an mmo launch, you shouldn't expect this. Better? This particularly goes out to the apologists and people who say "its an mmo launch, what do you expect?"
If we, collectively, stopped making excuses for companies, and instead held them to a higher standard, no one would ever say "its an mmo launch."
Because mmo publishers would know that even on day one, their customers wouldn't put up with this mess. Have your servers and data centers in place, and stress tested for longer than 3 days before any start of early service.
If your not happy, get your money back and play something else, or love this game and be patient like thousands others, not trying to be an ass but c'mon what is all this bickering doing? They know there's a problem.
Troll Edit: If anyone decides to kill themselves over this, I'm sorry and my condolences.
