I made a post asking SE to contact BT/EE and resolve this asap!Had this issue all through the beta...Had hoped it would of been fixed by now.
Threads about it on BT forums:

Don't know who needs to fix this, whether SE need to get in contact with BT or if BT need to pull their fingers out and stop flagging this game from throttleing (I think its the second option). I just hope something gets done to fix this as the game is unplayable during peak hours for a very large percentage of the UK.
"Your former glories and all the stories, dragged and washed with eager hands..but oh your city lies in dust my friend!"
Seems I can't play the game then.
Bt Infinity here. Server = Odin.
I was at work all day & only able to start playing after the maintenace. I'm having the same rubber-banding type lag issues. I didn't play beta 4 but I had no issues in beta 2 & 3 that I recollect.
This is happening to me also, I'm with Orange currently.
though, this never happened to me at this time of day in any of the Beta phases.
but this issue really needs resolving sooner rather than later - I've been trying to do some mining Leves, and for it to take upwards of five minutes to even just swing the pickaxe is intolerable.
like others, this has only happened after the emergency maintenance.
long shot but guys can you post here http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...t-UK-ISP-BT-EE hopefully the headline will be taken notice of. Also if you have facebook i made a post on EE's page here https://www.facebook.com/ee/posts/10...=share_comment Together we might get this noticed!

Same problems here on BT didn't happen till after maintenance, driving me nuts! :/
Okay: Posted to facebook, contacted EE support. Lets get this some notice, when Rift was loud enough Trion took notice and fixed it. We need this fixed...
Also, I am personally contemplating refunds because lets face it guys..it took rift a week to get it fixed. If we have to wait a week weve missed the entire EA (which was part of our pre-order) and even been delayed into launch, I sincerely hope square will give us some sort of compensation if this happens!
(please no silly people saying 'you dont deserve anything, you can play with a 500ms ping!')
Just so that people are clear, this issue has absolutely nothing to do with the emergency maintenance that was done earlier today. It was mearly a coincidence that the servers came back up close to the time that ISPs flick the switch on throttling (7pm normally) Nor is this SE's servers cracking under the strain of all the Early Access players. This is our internet provider throttling a very specific type of internet traffic and registering this game as said traffic.
It presents as lag but if you were to run a speed test both your download, upload and ping would all appear to be normal.
People may not have experienced this in previous beta's because the P2P traffic would have been a lot less due to fewer people being around. But once Phase 4 and Early Access hit and player numbers sky-rocketed the P2P traffic increased and limits placed on it have a much bigger effect.
I hope both SE and BT can work together and resolve this quickly or else none of us will really be able to play in peak times.
You can test your line if your uncertain:

It would be nice if a kind Person would consolidate all the threads that are having issues with this. Seems that a lot of people are having issues. Forget all the queue fiasco, When i in the server its not worth playing anyway with the throttling.
