Legacy Players and 180 Subscription Plan, Not Possible?

Ok, if you're a new player, if you subscribe for 180 days, you get discounted rate of 12.99 instead of the monthly rate of 14.99.

I remember seeing a pricing model where Legacy pays 9.99 a month, but there hasn't been an indication on whether Legacy players can purchase the 180 day plan, and at what cost.

The reason being, I want my veteran reward bonuses because I enjoy the game and know will be playing for a long time.

I know it's a silly question, and that we all assume Legacy will be able to purchase 180 day plan, but it would be nice to get confirmation and on price.

But keep in mind, they didn't list 'Legacy' as part of the billing plan because it's not obtainable anymore. So rather than field 4,000 'how do I get the Legacy rate?' questions, they just didn't list it.

I'm going to assume, that Legacy player can also pay in 1,3,6 month increments, but we just don't get an additional savings. So regardless of how many months we pay for up front, each month costs 9.99

(would be nice to get clarification of course)

It is possible that these rewards may be given to us after time has passed. I.E. You won't receive the first reward until the first 30 days. Then the second reward after the next 30 days. I don't think veteran status was intended to be something you buy up front. But rather, it is intended to reward you for sticking with the game over time.

The Veteran Rewards are special in game bonuses that you will get based on how long you have had an active subscription with the game. As of right now, there are three ranks of awards announced, after 30 days, 60 days, and 90 days. The rewards will be delivered by the moogle delivery service based on how long you subscribe to the game. For example, if you subscribe for 90 days in advance, you will receive all six rewards on your first day playing. Rank 1 (30 days) will give you a Wind-up Cursor Minion and Fantasia. Rank 2 (60 days) will give you a Black Chocobo Chick and Cascadier Uniform Voucher. Rank 3 (90 days) will give you a Beady Eye and Voidal Resonator. After the game’s launch, there will be further rewards for beyond 90 days.

I would wager that legacy can commit to 180 days in subs, paying $60 upfront.
Its $10/mo forever. They have said this before. No bulk discount, as you are still paying $3 less than the next most discounted sub.

Thank you SuMDRGMAN, that clears up a lot of questions around the ranking system and such.

So it seems that it can be purchased outright or earned over time. Although part of me doesn't like the purchased outright idea. That is a topic I will have to shrug off considering the people who pay for that time is their money and time. And we will all earn it over time anyway. I like the idea of the veteran rewards. And I would think they would have longer subscription periods available for legacy players. I doubt they would overlook that. As for legacy getting a further discount, it will not happen. But I cannot see a reason why legacy won't be receiving the option for a 90/180 options at the same price as $10/mo.

Buying outright is fine with me as I plan to do it as well. Even if someone does pay for the time in advance and leaves SE still has the money to keep development wheels turning. The leavee is then out of the money lost as per their own decision. Also gives people more stuff they want immediately nothing is giving us a bonus. As T-minus 26 hours and 38 minutes.
