There is only one retainer bell outside, and you have to use that object to call out your retainer so there are a lot of players around, and it makes it harder to target when there are pets being part of NPC.
ペットやミニオンを選択してしまうことについて、ターゲットの優先順位を変更することで対応を予定しています。
具体的には、キーボードのF12キーや○ボタンでターゲットを選択する際、ペットやミニオンよりも呼び鈴といったオブジェクトやクエスト用のNPC、そして、敵モンスターを優先して選択できるようになります。
これにより、例えば、呼び鈴周辺でF12キーを押した際、一回で呼び鈴を選択することが可能になります。
同時に、ターゲットサークルで選択しないと設定したにもかかわらず、ミニオンを選択してしまう不具合も修正されます。
こちらはパッチ2.1に先駆けて、実装を予定しています。
We are planning to change the targeting priority order to address this issue where you want to target things such as the retainers bell or entrance to the walking sands. In general, when you target with the F12 key or the circle button, instead of pets and minions it will target objects such as the retainer bell or NPC’s for quest, and monsters as priority.
With this, for example, if you press the F12 key near the retainer bell, you will be able to select the bell in single button.
Also, we will be addressing the issue where you still target the Minion even after changing the target circle settings.
We are planning to release these aiming for patch 2.1

Just FYI, someone mentioned after this Mocchi’s post to at least separate the HP/MP potions from Buff effect potions, so that is there. I also want these two separated.
現在のところ、アイテムの使用間隔を変更する予定はありません。ステータスアップ系の薬品類の効果時間とリキャストタイムがあまりにひどすぎる気がします。効果15秒リキャスト5分て・・・私は現状使い所がなく、貧乏性もあってインベントリの圧迫に一役買ってくれています。
薬品使うのが必須になるようなのも嫌ですが、あまりにも産廃過ぎる現状の見直しをお願いしたいものです。
I feel the recast time and effect duration for those status up type potions is horrible. 15 second effect with 5 minute recast... for me I don’t understand where you would use this, also due to my nature I can’t simply throw it away and that’s taking up space in the inventory. I don’t want it where you HAVE to use the medicines, but currently I don’t even see the point in this so I would like the devs to think over the mechanics.

Currently, we have no plans to change the reuse recast for the item.
There are times where it will take longer than 5 minutes inside instance dungeons or primal battles, and it is balanced out to where you can use one item for that 5 minutes, if you can use the items more frequent, it will lead to taking away another roles part, so for FFXIV ARR, our concept is to not increase the items convenience.

When shopping from the market board, I would like to be able to see my gil.
I understand I should just check before starting to shop, but there are times when I buy multiple items in a row, and I don’t want to open up My Character screen every time.
PS3版は、クロスメインコマンドを表示している場合にのみ所持ギルが表示されます。デフォルトで右下に所持金が表示されているはずですが。

By default the gil amount should already be displayed on the bottom right.
I didn’t have much need for this so I just have have the display off and have no problem.
マーケットボードで買い物する場合、現在は所持ギルが見えないためパッチ2.1で表示されるようになります。
For the PS3 version you can only check the gil amount when displaying the cross main command.
When shopping from the market board the gil amount isn’t displayed but this will be displayed starting in patch 2.1

It doesn’t get into details on what they are planning to do to address this issue but hopefully it will shed some light to those that were really concerned about this. I for one don’t want to use DF to do any more dungeons. I try my best but I’m not like those super skilled players, I just want to enjoy the damn game like any other FF series, I know how much it sucks for experienced player to die because of me and I really feel bad when I join a group with them, so I really hope there is something in the works so I don’t have to inconvenience them at same time still enjoy the game.

双方のプレイヤーが満足してダンジョンを楽しむことが困難になっていることについても、
開発では改善の必要があると認識しており、現在対策を検討しています。
For high level instance dungeons, the development team understand there isn’t much merit in killing trash mobs, they also knows that both players trying to obtain Allagan Tomestones and those that are not are not able to enjoy the dungeons and making it difficult when both type of players are mixed in.
Development team understand the need to fix this, and currently looking into methods to address this issue.

There is an article stating that there are people currently playing FFXIV ARR using dupes and hacks which allows to do things you’re not supposed. OP also saying in that article the said user only got one month ban and asking how are the punishments handled, what’s going on with the money that was created using this cheat, and worried if it’s being handled correctly.
Not the OP’s post but another persons post made me curious also, there was a dude on Chocobo server (non-Legacy world) with Goobbue mount.

We mentioned before that we are carefully investigating into this matter but if at any time the said person is to be found as a RMT, we are deleting them as soon as possible. Some of these RMT is shouting that there is no trouble but we’re guessing that they are in pressure (as in we had cases where we banned multiple accounts linked together). We would like for everyone to help tell friends and others that for every good deal there is a great risk involved, at same time they would be breaking the rule in the first place.

コンテンツファインダー中に、投票などを通してパーティメンバーをキックする機能は、技術的には難しいものではなく、実装を予定しています。ダンジョン攻略中無断で放置する方がいます。
戦闘にも参加せず攻略不可の場合、こちらからその放置者に何もすることが出来ず
退室しなきゃいけません。
そうなるとペナルティが来るのはこちら。おかしくありませんか?
過半数以上の同意での追放機能などが欲しいです。
There are players that goes AFK without saying anything.
Because of this person not participating it’s impossible to complete the dungeon, and there is nothing for the rest of us to do but to leave.
When that happens we’re the one getting the penalty, don’t you think that’s weird?
I would like a vote kick feature.
To have a vote kick feature while using the Duty Finder is not hard to do technically, and we are planning to release.

However, there is a possibility of this feature being used wrongfully, therefore we are focusing to make sure these type of problems don’t occur as much as possible. For that reason, the release timing is not confirmed yet, we are looking into if we’re going to implement this in patch 2.1.

Working on some more translations, but here's what I have so far.
Dev Post 10/01/13 Hotbar settings for when weapon is drawn/sheathed
This one is bit technical so my translation might be wrong on this one. When using the gamepad, they have a mode where you can have different cross hotbar displayed when your weapon is drawn/sheathed. But there are instances where you want to get into that hotbar after drawing your weapon, but not go back to sheathed mode.

Ah okay, so this by default switches when you draw/sheath your weapon.

We have received similar feedbacks from others regarding this one so we added additional task to add below setting options in the configuration.
キャラクターコンフィグ:ホットバー設定 <XHB>タブ
セット選択のカスタム設定
[V] 納刀時のセット選択カスタマイズを有効にする
Character Config : Hotbar Settings <XHB> tab
Custom settings for set selection
[V] turn on the customization set when drawing weapon
上記チェックボックス設定が ON になっている場合、 以下の設定項目を追加し、納刀抜刀切り替え時のセット動作を 選択できるようにします。
When above checkbox setting is turned ON, it will add below additional settings to be able to select how the draw/sheath status will work.
[V] 納刀/抜刀切り替え時に、セットを自動で切り替える
[V] Automatically switch the set upon drawing/sheathing weapon.
デフォルト設定は、現状の動作を引き継ぐため ONとし、 このチェックをOFFにすることで、納刀抜刀変更しても セットが自動的に切り替わらないようになります。
Default settings will be set to ON to carry over the current behavior, by turning this option OFF, it will make it where the set doesn’t automatically change even after drawing/sheathing your weapon.
上記の機能追加単体では数時間作業なのですが、皆さんのプレイされている公開版と、最新の開発版のプログラムで、クロスホットバー周辺部にかなりの数の実装や修正を入れたため、リリースできる時期がパッチ2.1になってしまいます。
Above mentioned features can be added in few hours of work, however the version on which the players are playing and the newer development version, has a lot of things that have been modified around the cross hotbar, therefore the release timing will have to be at patch 2.1.
L2R2同時押し時にホットバー中央に追加のアクションを表示&選択できる機能など、
他のパッチ2.1で実装する機能と合わせて調整を行います。
We are also making adjustments to add optional feature such as showing additional actions on the center hotbar while holding down both L2/R2, and others releasing in patch 2.1

FATEPTに参加しようと思ってtellしたけれど、いつまでたっても誘いが来ず、
不思議に思ってるとパーティを組んでいるので誘えないとtellされました。
My thoughts on Buddy Chocobo
- Would like to be able to keep Duty Finder up even while the buddy is out.
Even if I wanted to raise my chocobo while waiting for the Duty Finder we can’t do that, so please address this.
- Please make it where we can invite PC players with their buddies already out to the party.
I tried to join the FATE PT and sent hate, but didn’t get any invite and was wondering why, later on they sent me a tell saying they couldn’t because I’m already in a party.

すぐに実装するとはお約束できない状況です。
しばらくお待たせしてしまう可能性がありますが、少なくとも実装する予定があることを念頭においていただけると幸いです。
The dev team would also like to be able to call out their Buddy while waiting for the Duty Finder, or inviting a player with their Buddy already out and is currently looking into implementation.
However, the cost to do this is high, and due to other planned tasks, we cannot promise to implement this early. It is possible that this will take some time, however we would appreciate if you could just please remember that we do have plans to do this.

公式で一切触れられていないアムダプール等一部IDの無駄に長い入場待ち時間はプレイヤー側にとっていい方面に改善される気がしません。
(邪推ですが、公式に一切触れられておらず改善の兆しすら見られない
あの無駄に長いID入場待ち時間もコンテンツ延命目的に思えてしまいます。)
I don’t see any type of good changes for the players coming to fix the problem where we have to wait a long time to enter certain ID’s such as AK. We haven’t received any type of official announcement.
(I know it’s wrong, but I’m starting to think that it might be their plan to keep it this way to extend the life of the content.)

Specially for Amdapore Keep where people can’t enter the dungeon even after the party is formed, we will address the issue by optimizing the instance area assignment as well as increasing the amount of available content world.
You will not see this effect take instantly, it gradually releases the congestions, we understand how hard this is for everyone, and we apologize for this, but if you could please give us just some more time.

まず、MVP投票機能は、パーティを組んでいない状態でコンテンツファインダーにマッチングされたときのみ適用されます。これにより、お互いに話し合って特定の人に投票が集中するということを防ぎます。
Let me explain regarding the MVP vote feature which is planned for release in patch 2.1.
Firstly, the MVP voting feature can only be used when you match though the Duty Finder without any pre-made parties. With this it should avoid situations where pre-made group to talk over with others to concentrate voting on one specific person.
また、投票のタイミングはインスタンスダンジョンや蛮神戦のクリア後で、任意のプレイヤーに投票ができる一方、
誰にも投票をしないという行動も可能です。加えて、誰が誰に投票したかはわからないようになっています。
Also, the vote timing is done after the completion of instanced dungeon or primal battles, you will be able to vote for any player, at the same time you have the option to not vote for anyone at all. At the same time, it’s made so no one will know who voted for who.
そして、投票されたプレイヤーは専用のポイントを獲得し、一定以上のポイントを貯めることで、
新しいマウントやバディ用の装備といった直接キャラの性能に関わらないような報酬を獲得できます。
以上が現時点の仕様ですが、今後変更になる可能性があることをご了承ください。
Once the player accumulates enough voting points, they will be able to obtain rewards such as new mounts and gears for the buddy, things that won’t directly affect the players status.

We just posted a news regarding current status of how the RMTs and those that were cheating here (Link) so please check it out. We will continue to investigate RMTs and cheats, at same time once we confirm the cheat, we will punish them.
きちんと調査を行った上で対処をしていますので、普通にプレイして金策をしていただく分にはまったく問題なく、無差別にアカウント停止などを行うことはありませんのでご安心ください。

There is this one other post by Minagawa-san explaining his set up to one of the posters on the thread wanting to have action bar set up for PT and Solo for the same class/job. It’s just him showing how he’s doing it right now and wishes there was a easier method by having a text command to automatically switch the settings around when in PT or Solo. But they have other tasks with higher priority so those are coming after. Also says it’s pretty easy to add additional feature for this but doing this will increase the client-side memory so it’s can’t be simply be added.
