    Early Access & Account issues (PS3)

    Hello everyone!

    So yesterday I was so happy to see a mail from SquareEnix, with my early access code. Just to realise I got a wrong code. I pre ordered the collectors edition for the PS3 with early access feature. However yesterday I got the wrong code, I got a code for early access on Windows. I have no clue why this even happened since I don't have much to do with the PC version of the game; played all betas on the PS3 including beta 4 where I will have my characters for release.

    I registered my PC code but I can't see it anywhere in my account. When I log in on the PS3 it says I don't have a service available. This is even more strange, shouldn't I be able to see it in my account page? Or do I really need a PS3 code? Considering you use the same account on both PC and PS3 this shouldn't matter, especially since I already have my retail client.

    I have made a ticket about this but I highly doubt that SquareEnix will do anything about it until saturday anyway, most likely they will get back to me sometime next week. Any ideas guys?

    My case was that I redeemed fine got my code but it won't work in the PSN. It says the code is invalid. I too have a ticket in with SE but like you I'm skeptical anything will happen. I think the best option is to do what most have done: buy the PSN digital pre-order edition and get a refund for the pre-order we got from our stores, mine being gamestop. I'm going to give them until this evening, if it's not fixed, I'm heading to Gamestop for a refund.

    That's an option too of course I guess. It's so sad that it should be like this though. Looking at the store I bought it from they actually shipped it today so I will have my boxed edition by tomorrow. Don't know if that might help, sigh. This is really depressing!

    Now that is an idea I didn't think of. Only reason I preordered was for early access, as I am off work during that time. Come release day, I will be working all week. If I was going to wait until then to play, I could have just waited until Tuesday and picked up the physical copy at work, and got my employee discount. Will see how my ticket goes, but will keep this option in mind.

    Same issue here. PS3 NA user getting invalid error when entering 12-digit code on PSN. I am honestly thinking of just buying off the PSN store as well but was wondering if I could still cancel my pre-order from SE store if it's already shipped?

    Sadly, i'm not in the same boat as you guys. I pre-ordered the Physical copy from Amazon. The codes i've used have given me the EU code which doesn't work on NA accounts for PSN. I talked with a SE agent yesterday and they say that this is a known issue and are currently working to resolve it. The last i've heard anything was that it should be remedied by friday, but i'm being skeptical about it.

    The biggest problem is that I got wrong access code and the only way would be for SquareEnix to change it from PC to PS3. Knowing their slow support it won't happen before the release. If my CE hadn't shipped I might have cancelled my order and bought the digital PSN version. :/

    That sucks. Did you get an EU PC code or NA pc code?
    I've currently got 2 EU PS3 codes that i currently cannot use.

    This is exactly what I did last night. I contacted SE customer support, and they currently have no solution for invalid PS3 codes. They're super busy, and I honestly feel bad for all the rubbish they're getting from people. I imagine that any sort of fix isn't going to happen before EA, because I think they would have to reset every PS3 owners code and send out new ones. They'll also need to speak with Sony about resetting those codes. Seems like it would be a big process that won't happen any time soon.

    So, I just went to the Playstation Store, bought the digital Collector's Edition, and cancelled my order on Amazon. I was guaranteed early access at checkout, was able to download the game straight away, and was even given a Collector's Edition PS3 theme.

    I normally like having physical copies of things, but in this case I'd rather have peace of mind.

    I ordered the CE from amazon and I haven't been able to get past the error 3, for the past few days. I've tried everything that anyone's suggested, but nothing's worked for me.
