SE has never been known for understanding western cultures. look at FF Mystic Quest. that game was just insulting.

Its not a TV commercial. In almost all video game stores in Japan that I've seen, there are always demo videos playing of upcoming games that are used as a type of in depth promotional advertising. Typically there be an little section of the store devoted to that game. Its pretty neat.
