Windows & PS3 Theme (plus Lightning!)

Here's a link to the Windows and PS3 theme. I've downloaded the Windows one, but opening does nothing - I think it's supposed to add it to My Themes, but it didn't.

There seems to be a problem with the theme. I've found references to files that appear to exist on a Japanese version of Windows only.

I got it to work by extracting the .themepack file and change a few settings within the extracted .theme file.

I'll try to post my changes later. Posting with a smartphone is tough... (^_^; )

Nice one kitty-Cait! I used Winrar to open and extract the download and manually created a theme by right-clicking the multi-selected .jpgs and choosing "Set as Desktop Background". There's a .wav file in there too for Shutdown.

Too bad microsoft still doesn't allow real custom themes (= window decoration change) without patching system files -_-
Also, the downloaded .themepack installed without problems on my system, and it's an English OS... though running with JP codepage for non-unicode programs.

Which Windows version are you using Soukyuu? 7? 8 perhaps?

Quick instructions for getting the desktop pictures on Macs, FYI:

　1. Download the themepack file.
　　　* The filename is "FINAL FANTASY XIV-A Realm Reborn.themepack".
　2. Download a program called The Unarchiver. More info on its product site.
　3. Drag the themepack file onto The Unarchiver application icon.
　　　* This creates a folder called "FINAL FANTASY XIV-A Realm Reborn".
　4. The desktop images are inside that folder, in the "DesktopBackground" folder.
　　　* The images are 1920x1200 in size (16:10 aspect ratio).

I used 7 zip to open theme file, it works too.
