Who is Volatile?

Volatile is a group of very determined and disciplined players who strive for the best in FFXIV: ARR. We have fun but we get things done.

Why should I join Volatile?

There are several reasons you want to join Volatile, but to name off a couple; Respectful, fun, strict, and determined to get what we need to get done and to keep pushing forward until we get what we want. We don't give up, we don't tolerate any sort of bs.

What are the requirements?

We don't exactly have strict requirements to join yet due to us finding amazing players with only a single fifty. We have attendance requirements of at least 90%(Full Members) but we do excuse important RL situations that might arise. If "RL" seems to be an abused thing, then we drop you to a secondary group(Stand-In). We also like to hold TeamSpeak3 interviews just to get to know the person and get a taste of their character because character goes a long way and is easy to determine in a few minutes talking in TeamSpeak3.

We also require you to have extensive knowledge on your class, of course. We don't force people to play jobs, but, we do have a "triple threat" type of rule. You pick your top 3 50's you want to play and we have you come accordingly.

We have a wide variety and large mix of personalities and it is just a fun atmosphere. We are strict but we reward. We plan, we attack, and we conquer while having a good time.

We are looking for a wide variety of players and skillsets that we can use for top tier "Hardcore" progression in every aspect of FFXIV: ARR we WILL make a name for ourselves and we WILL be classy while doing it.

Our Plans:

1) Beta 3: We do plan to run a few zone and just have fun checking out the new areas.
2) Open Beta: Our plan is do main story progression(as a team) so that we can enter all of the new end-game areas come 2.0.
3) Launch: End-Game!

Q:
Why do I see so few members on your roster?
A:
Quildwork links Final Fantasy XIV player and linkshell info right from the game. Wile Final Fantasy XIV is in beta, Quildwork will not be able to update its database, and only the players who had the linkshell equipped before 1.0 ended names will show up in the roster for the forum. We have many more members in our ranks, and will be ready come 2.0 to hit end-game running.

Q:
Do you invite Lv 1 player to join?
A:
As a rule, we do not turn away low lever player who have past MMO experience. However, we do require you to have experience, and you may not lot until we have a chance to see your skill. I would hate to turn away a player who may one day become one of the best on the server. Please feel free to apply.

Q:
May I invite my friend to join as well?
A:
Yes, friends of our members do not get turned away. However, understand who you are going to invite. If a player, even if they are your friend, should turn out to show a lack of skill, they can still be kicked.

Our roster is now full, and as such, we are no longer taking applications unless they have the following:

* 4 level 50 jobs.
* Can make every run.
* Show a willingness to learn, and support the team.

This in no way means that you will have to sit on the side. Our plan is to send anyone who did not make it into the 24 man zone, into other events with my officers. We will be doing ->Relic/Primal<- events that will be 8 man areas with them. You will still make points, as well as progression in the game.
