    Unable to update patch files. Please Help

    Hello,

    I was playing back in phase1 and a little in phase2 of the beta, and I am trying to patch my files so I can get back into phase3, but I keep getting an error message when I try to run the patcher.

    "Unable to update patch files. [11005][20879]"

    Any advice? I've tried reinstalling to no avail. And nothing has changed on my PC-that I know of-that would affect the patch.

    I had this =/

    Go into "My Documents > My Games" and completely delete the 'FFXIV:ARR (Beta Test)' folder.

    You should be able to patch without a problem then.

    That did the trick! Thanks a bunch. I did an uninstall/reinstall but I guess it didn't delete the folder in My Documents.

    Yay! Enjoy =b I haven't had a chance to play yet </3 stupid computer. Waiting for my PS3 invite is killing me inside.
