Funnily enough it actually seems a different item from what we have been given with the CE:



The cloth part under the chin and around the neck is dark instead of light grey.

Also the armor is different from the onion armor we had with 1.0

I'm not exactly sure of what you mean here, to be 100% honest.

Nothing really. I won't be surprised if each onion helm looks like that, and there's no difference between the old and new sets. it seems too trivial a difference for an entirely new set.

Well, the rest of the armor is very different, and considering that we've been shown an extremely high number of different equipment sets it's very unlikely that "PS3 limitations" (that aren't any relevant in the case of this game, as the PS3 isn't the lead platform) have anything to do with it.
