Mission Statement
The Abyssal Pirates is dedicated to being a fun, welcoming environment for all kinds of players. We focus on success, adventuring, and of course getting as much powerful gear and expensive loot as we can get our hands on. If you want the event structure, information, and goals of an Endgame shell, the comfortable, accommodating feeling of a social shell, and the warm sense of adventuring from being with friends who enjoy a little more than being strictly "business as usual," then The Abyssal Pirates is the place for you.

Introduction
Nice to meet all of you interested Pirates. I am Kagato, captain of this crew I'm putting together. As said in the mission statement, this will be a shell dedicated to making everyone "rich and powerful," so to speak. This means we will be doing Endgame content regularly for those who are able to do so, but we will also help prepare and develop players who are just starting out, so the crew accepts players of any level. However, there are a few rules and requirements that I must ask to be followed if you are interested in joining.

Basic Rules and Expectations
I. This crew is a "no negative drama" environment. Seriously, it's Zero Tolerance.

II. Fluent english-speaking/typing is required.

III. Everyone will be treated equally and fairly no matter what the circumstance.

IV. Good behavior is rewarded. Bad behavior is punished. Simple as that.

V. Pieces of Eight (or P8) will be this crew's point system. P8 is earned for participation, donations, and good deeds and are spent towards virtually anything between access to the vault, lotting on drops, and various other things! It's just more fair this way.

VI. Because players can only join one Free Company at a time, players who are a part of The Abyssal Pirates Free Company will earn P8 faster than anyone who's not in the Free Company, though this is subject to change depending on what else we learn about the FC system.

VII. If someone doesn't know something, you must be willing to take the time and explain what needs to be done in detail and in a friendly way, even if you need to repeat yourself a second or third time. We're pirates but we're not assholes.

VIII. We fully encourage fun, happiness, goofing off and joking around during off-times. But during important events and battles, please put on your game-face and focus on the task until it's completed.

IX. You must use the crew's message board and bulletin boards. That is where all announcements, plans, events, cancellations, delays, and anything else will be officially discussed and expressed.

X. And finally, just be dedicated. The more dedication you give to the crew, the more the crew will dedicate to you.

Jobs and Duties
Captain - Planning, navigation, P8/loot distribution, and leadership.
First Mate - Second in command for when the Captain is unavailable. Has the same duties and privileges as the Captain.
Quartermaster - Third in Command. Handles dealings with the Free Company vault, P8, and keeping tabs on the Auction House market. Works directly with the Captain and First mate.
Pirate Council - Members of authority with no specific jobs. They act as mentors, aid in decision-making, aid in rule-enforcement, and take charge when the Captain, First mate, and Quartermaster are all unavailable.
