Midgardsormr and the Airship in Mor Dhona!

Found a small tidbit of updated information for Mor Dhona...


I'd like to just point out that I think it's great that they've kept the ship wreck with the corpse of Midgardsormr wrapped around it in ARR.
If you go here it says,

"Even now, the carcass of the immense wyrm lies entwined with the wreckage of the Agrius in the center of the lake, a towering monument to the ferocity of the conflict. Ever since that day, the lands of Eorzea have continued an inexorable fall into chaos... "


That part wasn't always there, that was definitely added recently.


A lot of you may think this isn't a big deal, but I know a lot of people on my server were nervous that it may have disappeared in the new game. (Carnage of Bahamut) So I can name
a number of people that are happy to be able to revisit this amazing monument.


I think it's great. I hope we get to venture up close to it. I was so disappointed to think that there may have been this huge storyline involving it that was scrapped because of the direction 1.0 had taken. But it's still there! Wooo!

Yeah, sorry to pop your bubble, but that full Mor Dhona description has been there since before the fall of Dalamud.

I don't think they'd remove something that everyone in the game went to take screenshots with at one time or another... at least I don't think they would. That concept art with a destroyed Isghgard-looking thing makes me nervous, but the new bestiary entries say the wyverns are on the front lines attacking them so I guess the city is still there.

I wonder if they built that Rapture bar I tried to rally for! (lol)

Well, we didn't know what to expect at the time. At one point we (my linkshell) were under the impression that only Gridania was being blown up. Not the whole world.

ishgard is fine that just something the people of ishgard used.

There was an interview where it was brought up i'm sure, not sure where but Yoshida said that it was a Ishgadian Fortress that was in ruins and that he felt he had to implement Ishgard into the game like Musketeer etc

I'm hoping Migardsormr and the Agrius will still be there, though what will happen with Agrius if it is? It's weaponry is still functional judging by the end of the original 1.0 questline.
